Well, it's been a little while since the last blog post - apologies! I've been pretty busy in the last few weeks and with lots going on, I had to push this to the back-burner a little.
So, where to start...
The last post was way back in January, about the 'Houzz' award that I received for the previous year, and truth be told, January was a pretty quiet month - as always. The time of year, the weather, holidays etc all come together to create this 'zombie month', where things usually go quiet!
Still, since then its been a busy period with jobs in various different locations, like Edinburgh, Glasgow, Perth and Dumfries, as well as Aberdeen, and some of the new images created can be found in the galleries on the site just now.
First to report on was some hotel photography in Edinburgh. This was at a renovated and extended Premier Inn property at Edinburgh Park, on the outskirts of the city. With some new rooms having been added and some re-design in other areas, the remit was to photograph the externals as well as parts of the interiors.
Here are a couple of images:
Next up was a new Restaurant property located in Perth, by the Broxden roundabout. This was again completion photography on a project for clients involved in the construction, and included external and interior photography again.
Moving onto Glasgow, I was commissioned to photograph some advertising materials & items at the END. clothing store in the city centre. Due to contract obligations I cannot share any of those specific images, but while I was there, I was allowed by the management to shoot some other general images of the store, which looks very smart indeed.
In other news, I've also been quite busy again with photographing Residential property for a mixture of both client portfolios and also for Real Estate purposes. This has been very enjoyable, and I'm pleased to be shooting more homes again as well as commercial properties. Both are challenging and interesting, but in different ways, and I hope to be able to share some of these pictures shortly.
I've got more commercial stuff to report on as well, but I'll leave that for another post I think!
Follow-up post coming soon !
